How to tell if a girl likes you? This is the question always asked by guys when they are interested in a girl. Have you ever wondered if that special girl is interested in you? Maybe she is a co-worker, a friend of a friend, or someone you just met at a party. She caught your eye and now you’re hooked and feel compelled to find out more about her. But how do you know if she is really interested in you or if she is only trying to find a meaningless hookup?
Most women aren’t looking for that quick “hooking up” relationship. Women are vulnerable, full of emotions and full of romance and passion. Men try so hard to impress women sometimes that it could turn her off. Women are fragile creatures. Their minds work different than a guy’s mind. A guy typically only look for sexual relationships rather than love and true relationships. With this being said, how would you know if that girl caught your eye?
The first step in making your interest in a girl known is making eye contact with her. Once your eyes have locked from across the room and you can feel the intensity of emotions and passion that you see in her eyes, it is a good indication that she is interested.
Since women are have become more independent in today’s society, it is typically more common for a woman to approach a man and initiate that first conversation. However, this is not true for all women. Do not assume that she is going to make the first move regardless of how nervous you are. Once you have locked eyes on one another and she gives that first sign that she interested in talking with you, the small shy smile, you can safely say that she is interested in you, although do not jump to conclusions.
After your eyes have met and the smile has been exposed, give your girl a gesture to come over to talk to you. If she does not, that doesn’t necessarily mean that she isn’t interested. It may mean that she is too shy to make the first move or it’s not her personality to just open herself up to a guy that way. Give her a reason to come to you. When she does, the wonderful magic of conversation can begin.
Once you learn how to communicate with your girl, start talking about her interests and beliefs. By showing you are interested in her as a person and not just another beautiful body, she will feel more comfortable and reassured that you want to learn more about her and to continue on with the conversation after this first encounter.
You have now exchanged numbers. Sure you could sit and wait by the phone for her to call but it’s best if you make the first phone call even if it’s only to tell her that you had a great time talking to her. This is where you could casually slip in “ hey, would like to go out for lunch or coffee sometime?” See what she says. If she is hesitant to answer she may be having her doubts about you and attempting to develop a relationship with you. If she says yes, make the best of it and show your true personality. Don’t hide behind a mask that is so easy to put on. Show the real you and your true personality. This will attract your girl more by being honest, open, empathetic and real about who you really are.
